About Us

Adams specializes in late-phase psychiatric and neurologic clinical trials. These studies look at investigational drugs that have already been tested by hundreds of people and are now ready to be tested in a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study. Nine full-time doctors oversee the studies at Adams Clinical. These doctors do not create or manufacture drugs; they act as neutral third-parties who test the drugs that someone else has manufactured.

The pharmaceutical industry is required to use outside drug testing facilities under Chapter 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 54. The Food and Drug Administration has the authority to reject new drug applications if the appropriate steps to minimize bias were not taken during testing. Adams is regulated by the Food and Drug Administration and is subject to random audits of its facility and records.
