Principal Investigators
SHAMA FAROOQ, MD is a board certified Neurologist, Neuro-oncologist and member of the American Academy of Neurology, Society for Neuro-oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Society of Clinical Research. Prior to joining Adams Clinical, Dr. Farooq was assistant professor of Neurology/neuro-oncology at Hackensack Meridian Healthcare, assistant Professor in Neurology and Director of Neuro-oncology at Boston University. She completed her Neurology residency at University of Illinois Chicago and a Neuro-oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
DENNIS FAGUNDO, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist trained in research and psychotherapy. A graduate of the University of Puerto Rico, he currently serves as a Principal Investigator and Psychiatry Lead at Adams Clinical Bronx.
